ESAL Electric Scooter 1-Year Manufacturing Warranty Information

Overview 

At ESAL, we are committed to providing high-quality products and outstanding customer service that extends well beyond your initial purchase. Our promise is to offer complete peace of mind with every scooter purchase.

Warranty Coverage

  • Duration: EASL electric scooters are covered by a 1-Year Manufacturing Warranty from the date of purchase.
  • Scope: This warranty includes Parts and Labor for manufacturing defects related to the following components: Handlebar, Forks, Motor, Charger, and Control Panel.
  • Consumer Law: The warranty provided is in addition to rights afforded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and cannot be excluded.
    Eligibility for Warranty Claims
  • Who is Covered: The warranty applies only to the original purchaser who bought the scooter from the ESAL website. Proof of purchase (invoice) is required for any warranty claim.

What is Covered?

  • The warranty covers faults in workmanship or materials under normal usage conditions, provided the scooter has been properly maintained according to the instructions.

Exclusions from Warranty Coverage The warranty shall be considered null and void in the following cases:

  • Tampering with the control panel, evidenced by a broken tamper-proof seal.
  • Damage due to overheating or improper storage of the battery.
  • Damage caused by malice or rough intent.
  • Signs of water ingress in any part of the scooter.
  • Lack of regular maintenance or servicing of the scooter.

What is Not Covered?
1. Personal injuries, damages, or product failures due to:

    • Accident
    • Misuse
    • Neglect
    • Abuse
    • Normal wear and tear
    • Improper assembly or maintenance

2. The warranty does not extend beyond the original owner and does not cover defects or malfunctions that fall outside the conditions specified above.

Customer Responsibilities

    • During Warranty Period: Customers must bear the cost of inward freight charges to return the scooter for warranty assessments or service.
    • Outside Warranty Period: If the warranty is voided (e.g., lack of proof of purchase or post warranty expiration), the manufacturer’s representative reserves the right to charge for service and any parts needed, as well as return freight costs.

Limitations

    • This warranty replaces and excludes any other warranties, whether expressed or implied.
      ESAL will not be liable for direct, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the scooter.
